WRITING: WHAT IF and CHASE DIES IN SPACE
I write scripts for one of Youtube’s biggest science and space channels: WHAT IF (9 million subscribers) and its spin-off CHASE DIES IN SPACE.
The WHAT IF series is driven by big hypothetical questions, documentary style science-writing, and a healthy dose of humour, runs 20-30 minutes per episode.
CHASE DIES IN SPACE is an Unreal Engine animated half-hour show about a fictional space explorer & content creator who dies in outer space. Repeatedly. It’s a science-based comedy with plenty of pop-culture references, curiosity-driven narratives, and impossible intergalactic quests. So far, I’ve written a dozen or so broadcast-half-hour scripts featuring moon swaps, interstellar comets, mass extinctions, Venus, Mars… and a story about pterodactyls and Pablo Escobar. It's all super-fun.
