Tate Young writes, directs & picture edits sci-fi features, digital series, short films, commercials, and documentaries. His work has appeared on: CTV, CRAVE, GlobalTV, CityTV, BRAVO!, BookTV, Sportsnet, Maclean's & CanalPlay.

He just finished writing and picture-editing the 2024 CRAVE / CTV series EVOLVING VEGAN with Mena Massound. His short BONECRUSHER was recently featured on CBC, CBC's THE NATIONAL and CTV, and his most recent doc CAPTURING CARBON is available online now. His debut novel, THE RIDGEBACK, is represented by Wayne Arthurson at The Rights Factory.

Tate is a Director member of the Directors Guild of Canada. Originally from the West, he currently lives and works in Toronto.
